Flinching slightly at the presence of the long, ornate cane. The young woman had seemingly revealed her one biggest fear, needles. Magical or otherwise. She knew the intentions were anything but the purest, but even still... "W-Well, I do want to learn magic..." Mumbled the woman, trying hard to swallow her pride and stow her fears. Although such an act was fairly difficult when a barrage of compliments caused a faint blush to spread across her flustered face, creating quite the volatile mixture of... Complex emotions.
Although, with the injection passing and subsiding with little but a minor stinging, the woman found herself feeling unusually energised... Of course! The Golden God's Eye must have been charged with mana, increasing her total count! "So I'm... Magic now?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion. "Can I conjure fire? Water? Electricity?" She asked, becoming incredibly excited about the possibilities.
As the little guy looked confused about all of the stretches that she was performing, the derp then started to conjure his own little cane. One that was resembling a larger more ornate staff but sadly due to his lack of height didn't mean much as it soon dissapeared into a thin mist as he frowned, knowing the limitations of his own powers as he would then play it off as intended.
"You can do whatever you want! You simply expell energy and you can bring forwards gifts of magic depending on your servitude to a dark lord or your relation with a master!" Before then thinking on how to explain the further details of magic, the little guy took notice to how it was still intensifying with the rain. Maybe it was time to take the little guy home somewhere, so that they could discuss things in a more pleasant scenario instead of having their socks wettened to near unuseability?
"So I need a master?" Asked the woman, tilting her head slightly as she thought of the connotations of this. She didn't really know anybody magical to ask... Except maybe this little fluff? But she couldn't ask him randomly, he would never accept it for such a plain old girl like her! But then again... The rain was picking up something fierce... She didn't mind a cold, but it could be terrible for what she assumed was a magical creature. What if they started sneezing ice or something!?
"W-Well um... The rain seems like it's picking up a lot... Would you like to come with me to my place, just until it dries up a little outside?" She asked, nervously playing with her hair.
"Wha? But we were doing Prank Masters! Not Magic Masters!" Cried Tangeri, hidden away in the bushes still.
As the boy thought to himself... He would nod contently before then simply saying "I see great potential in you...!" before he would then notice that there was the ultimate moment. The ultimate chance, the ultimate possibility as he would manifest a small puddle of water nearby the feet of the woman sneakily, aiming it in such a way that she would slip with great ability before realizing that it could be dangerous, his little body quivering softly from the rain as he sneezed a few times.
Tangeri, as you sat there complaining, a tall man simply grasped towards you, trying to grasp at your neck with the scent of alcohol all over his own body, his hand holding a broken bottle as he was hiccuping softly... What was this man even doing here?! That man is ruining your chance to see your student his first prank... and above all, he is ruining the chance for you to be capable of giving him information on how to move this prank ahead! But it seems that you have ended up with a small pickle yourself to fish yourself out off! And to make matters worse, it seems that the man carries something special too...? What is that on his waist, a blade?
"R-Really? You see potential in... Me...?" Asked the woman, shocked at the fact that any one would so much as give her the time of day, let alone see some form of potential in her. The young woman's brain had kicked into overdrive, full of conflicting thoughts and messages of a woman who had never even had so much as a normal conversation with someone outside of mentioning anything embarrassing caused by her youth. These thoughts were soon interrupted of course, by the sudden puddle of water by her feet, causing her to let out a yelp as she slipped over into the diminutive man's arms.
Feeling the sudden sensation of being grabbed, Tangeri instinctively growled. Biting into the assailant's hand with the sharpened teeth of a Tropic and driving her barefoot into the male's "lower area" in order to secure her freedom. "Ei, ruak! You smell of fish and have a crappy face!" She yelled, "Leave me to teach!"
While the little guy held his arms raised high, hoping to be able to catch the woman that was making a downwards course, he couldn't help but be crushed underneath the weight as he took nearly fatal damage as he was left in an embarresing position on the ground, two craters underneath him as his right leg was the closest to the ground as he was laying on his side, with a sharp V, his other leg above it aimed a little more lax. His head down into the crater and his right arm straight infront of himself with his left arm in a sharp 90 degree angle too, one would even say that this position was universally known as the dissapointment position when you were defeated as hard as he had been. Unable to even comprehend how painfull it was as the little guy twitched a little...
As the woman kicked the man into his stomach, the original intention failing due to him dropping the woman and having her tumble back down, his wrist starting to bleed painfully, he would hold his bottle in an awkward position infront of himself, his torso aiming straight towards you as he kept his eyes locked not onto your face or your eyes, instead with a flushed face he was gazing towards your hips and torso... There was always a moment of purity in everybody, but it was universally known what a disgusting freak looked like, this man laughing to himself with a bit of drool running down his mouth, with the scent of rotten fish and whisky spreading awkwardly, he would throw the bottle forwards to distract the woman in an obvious movement before going forwards to grapple the lady, hoping to restrict her by force. Not realizing that he had taken amazing damage already to his own stomach.
"O-Oh gosh! I am so sorry!" Cried the woman, instantly struck with panic. She had always had "trouble" with her figure when growing up, especially in regards to her "upstairs balcony" as it were. Of course, this was misinterpreted as the young woman having always believed that she was being called fat. Rather than "thiccer than a bowl of oatmeal" as her old classmates had put it in the past.. "Oh gosh, he's unconscious! Think Shiro, remember CPR!" She said, getting down into the small crater and moving Silver into the recovery position, trembling as she slowly moved in to lock lips with the man.
"Spirits forsake a man such as yourself!" Yelled Tangeri, struck with a feeling of immense disgust upon meeting the gaze of the man beginning to leer at her. Lashing out towards him with an upwards kick to get rid of the broken bottle, shattering it in a brief moment of forgetting her own strength. With the shining shards of glass lighting up the skies, Tangeri brought her lifted leg down onto the man's head. Which would normally have knocked him to the ground, had she not caught him with her tail around his neck. "Nature is wasted on the corrupt!" She snarled, runic, tribal lines spreading across her skin, resembling sharpened claws. Grey and black fur sprouting from the markings, covering her growing body. Throwing a strength boosted punch to the tied man's face, the enraged oozaru sent the man in her tail spinning behind her, catching him with her other hand and slamming him onto the ground. This event was thankfully hidden from the moon due to the thick foliage of the trees, so the man would find his life spared with Tangeri calming down. "Ei... Are you okay?" She asked, prodding him with an enlarged finger. "Aie! The spirits may have taken you too early, I will send you to help!" She cried, lifting up the unconscious man, taking aim... And throwing him with all of her strength, in the vague direction of the police.
You know, as awkward as the lip locking was at first, it didn't take long for time to pass at they would have moved ahead, a large building standing before themselves as the sign spoke of the name 'Hanabi' with brilliant letters, the entire area seeming to be dedicated to the family that was living here. The mansion that they survived in wasn't something akin to the property that any normal person would be able to reach before he saw a small group of butlers and maids open the door. "Uhh... Why did they call you mistress?" The little guy asked, surprised and suspicious a little. As the upwards kick knocked the bottle away, shattering it as a fine explosion was caught, the person would raise his arms in defence before a tail grabbed his neck and he would be send soaring through the skies as he was a mere speck of dust in the distance. A young male called 'Stephen' with a small pin to his torso that said that he was an intern at a small criminal organization with his appearance resembling an innocent gopher from the animal kingdom he would raise his hand awkwardly. Unable to really think on what to do at this point before then saying "C...Can i have a rating on my timing? Normally the other guy gives me stuff to deliver and rates me... But i need a total of four ratings to be able to graduate from this job..." He spoke awkwardly, puberty, voice cracks, he was the entire package of a mess.
While walking with her new friend shakily, making their way to her home. Shiro couldn't help but feel the slightest bit apprehensive about even having someone over, let alone a man. But as they approached her family's mansion, Shiro found herself being caught off guard by the sudden question. "W-Well, they are people that my family hired to take care of us..." She admitted, looking away shyly. "This... Is their job." Explained Shiro, smiling nervously.
Waving goodbye to the large man in the sky, Tangeri looked around in confusion upon hearing the sudden stuttering of another person. "Aye?" She asked, crouching down to be somewhat closer to eye level with this "Stephen" in her giant, furred form. "Hmm... I give you... Five!" Grinned Tangeri, holding out a large hand towards the young man, "But only if you find better job. Old boss is pretty mean, ei?" She smiled, shrinking herself back down to her "normal" state and giving a thumbs up. "Go Stephie! Find better job!"
As Silver looked at her explain that they were hired to protect her, he would suddenly gasp. His little arms going to cover his own face as he did a few hops, holding his breath as he wasn't able to exclaim his own excitement before then moving his hand forwards to shoot a small laser towards her as he spoke "So you are a forbidden hero who is contained in the mansion to protect the world from yourself!" As he had manifested a rather snugly fitting sweater mixed with armour and sword on her hip. Hoping to impress her a little as he would look excitingly, the story reminding others of the king arthur story but heavily mixed up with some other anime refrences?
As 'Stephie' made his way over, he would hold out the paper to sign as he would shake his head on finding another job with a little bit of awkwardness as you could draw in the stars on the line with how much you rated him! "No... My uncle works there and i am trying to get work expierience, i have been in the search for a job for 3 years now and i have not found a real job yet..." As he sighed to himself, scratching the back of his head. Mumbling about how his father didn't know how the job market worked and how he wasn't having any fun with his current job... "Like, it pays the bills but i just am not happy supplying weapons to those idiots, but how else will i be able to pay for my hobbies and pay rent y'know? And when i get home i am just forced to clean dishes and do the chores again..." He sighed painfully as he lowered his head in agony, a few tears visible.
"I-I don't think that's why they hired them..." Said Shiro, laughing nervously. Until of course, her clothing was magically changed to be that of some kind of anime-esque warrior. Sword and all, although the sweater was quite comfortable. "Do... Do you think so?" She asked, seemingly incredibly easy to influence when it came to the likes of being "important" or even "special". Which was... Quite sad, if you really thought about it... That is, until Silver would suddenly hear Tangeri's voice in his head!
"Ooooh, three years?" Asked Tangeri, nodding in agreement. "That is way too long friend!" She continued, taking the form and giving it a good look through, continuously circling the little stars with a pencil included with the paper. Even going so far as to go outside of the borders of the paper itself, making sure to show just how much this little lad was appreciated. "Life advice Stephie, old Tropic saying. "If you not happy where you are, why not run, very far."" Nodded Tangeri, "I will help friend, I can put in word with helpful friend!" She explained, taking a small aside to herself to whisper into the earpiece to Silver. "Ei, koa. You know any good jobs nearby? I have a little chamaco here wanting to change" Spoke Tangeri, making sure he got everything before turning to the young Stephen again, putting her hands on her hips. "Do not worry Stephie, my little friend can do anything, he is magic you know! The Mojo of the spirits flow through him!" She said proudly.
Silver simply stood there, looking at the person who was showing such surprise as he would nod a few times "Yes, Shiro, you are indeed a beautifull creature that ends up becoming some kind of hero, but remember to be thankfull to those who have given you the power okay!" before his stomach rumbled, as he would look awkwardly down... Silver simply had his eyes stare towards the woman as small droplets formed, as if he was expectant for something? Using some magic to mask the voices, Silver would also respond towards Tangeri. "Don't you need a few people to hire? You can start your own business on earth as you need people to clean the fruits you have spare right?" he would share.
Stephen simply looked in confusion as he wasn't able to comprehend where a magical creature would be able to get a job from untill he would be able to hear vague words before he would close his mouth, thinking for a second before then bowing infront of the lady, having had an eye for attention in quite a few moments of his life as he spoke "Sorry... But i can not run, i am here to work untill i am able to get a job that benefits those that i care for..." as he would look down to the ground, biting his lower lip.
"I have a younger daughter, she is an innocent girl who doesn't have much except a growth issue and health issues, she constanly gets harmed by my co-workers but i need to work to be able to afford the medicine and magical healers aren't able to easily get over to fix the job too... thirty thousand zenni per minute after all..."
Ignoring the excess of compliments to the best of her ability, Shiro began to think of how she could help her guest. "I uh... Know a good recipe for chicken, if you want some..." She mumbled, taking charge for once at the prospect of cooking and instinctively leading her friend to the mansion's expansive kitchen. "Alright... So we need five chicken breasts, and a bunch of spices..." She mused, awakening her one "normal" passion... Cooking! Placing the five large hunks of poulty into a large tray, Shiro moved to a small cabinet and took out five small bottles, as well as salt and pepper grinders.
"Alright. First, we start off with a small bowl. We could just put the spices directly onto the meat but we have a fair amount. So first we start off with a dash of turmeric, followed by a little cayenne pepper, some paprika, chilli powder, and chinese five spice." Explained Shiro, almost in some form of self induced trance. "And we finish off the dry rub with some freshly ground salt and pepper." She added, reaching into a drawer and taking out a small wisk. "Now we just need to mix the spices together to get them all nice and homogeneous ... And while we do this we preheat our oven to 400 degrees. To which we apply our finished rub while we wait, just make sure to wash your hands." She said, drying off her washed hands and beginning to rub the chicken down with even coatings of the spice mixture.
"And now we just leave it in there for 25 minutes, any questions?" She asked, smiling softly
"Wha? No no no, koa! I have no money to pay with, they need money!" Said Tangeri, listening in on Silver's response and completely lacking the ability or decorum to mask her words like he did before. The young Tropic frowned and thought to herself intensely before cheering. "Ahah! Stephie, I have an idea! I save your kiddie, and take you two to new job! You'll make mucho zeni and fix your girl!" She said, pointing on dramatically and immediately rushing off in... Some form of direction. Before walking back with the same amount of energy as she left. "Now Stephie, where is the bad guys!?" She said, trying to ignore the fact that she just ran off blindly out of her own bout of adrenaline, figuring it would be as easy as just punching some bad guys a bunch and taking a cute little kiddie back into a mansion!
As Silver listened to the information, he would wag his legs contently while smiling towards the woman, unable to comprehend what all these weird spices were before then clapping his hands together upon seeing it enter the oven, the attention required to pay attention to the beast of a chicken that was in that oven... What was a chicken anyway? Slowly getting into an induced trance, Silver would soon ask.
"So... Why is the kitchen as large as a house?"
That was the first question that he would bring up with the massive amount of furnaces, specialized tools and other smaller materials to allow people to do their jobs correctly as he would tilt his head... before then pointing at the oven.
"Also, Why is it on the wrong number? You said a different number than 499x2 right?"
Stupid capsule corp ovens with their time shifting properties to make faster food and mess with the timeline! There is still this story about a person who lost their trunks in these oven types and ended up destroying a vital cell?
As Stephen looked at the Saiyan run into the wrong direction, he would bring his hands to his own forehead before then sighing loudly, a groan soon forming from his mouth as he pointed to the opposite direction, where a large section of slums were build as he would slowly bang his head into his own free palm, knowing full well that this idiot was going to be the death of him one day.
"Woman, please be carefull, i do not think that you can just tank a gun to the forehead, so please be carefull."
That was his only warning as the slums started to become apparant, a few buildings having people on rotation, a total of eight people each equipped with a metal stick that had a small scope on it. They had a small patch on them that showed 'hanabi' on their arms?
"Well... It's because a wing of the mansion is also a five star restaurant" Said Shiro, "So I've been around cooking for a long time." She sighed, before realising what her friend had said to her. "Oh gosh!" She cried, quickly pushing the button to turn the oven off. "Aaagh I hate these new ovens! First it was electrical, now this!" She grumbled, quickly putting on oven gloves and pulling the tray out of the oven. "Let's see... We can probably salvage this still, the spices have formed a crisp coating, maybe with some handmade sweet chilli sauces..." Mused Shiro, letting the chicken rest as she got to work on making an accompanying sauce to go with it.
Leaving Stephen with the encouraging words of "Do not worry friend, Tangeri is stronger than she looks!" The young saiyan looked around the area in disgust, the air was thick with smog and there was very little nature... So this is what the Elder warned her about the planet Earth... But at any rate, the young woman walked on. Showing the traditional Tropic hospitality, or rather assuming others did the same, by moving in to walk into the building anyway. "Yahola friends!" She spoke cheerfully, "Those are some interesting looking sticks! I am just here to see boss man, I won't be long. Okay?" She smiled, giving a thumbs up as she went to walk through the open door.
