Well damn, this was always a problem when coming to somewhere new. She’d done her best to try and follow the directions she had been given by the friendly fellow near the entrance gate. But she must have taken a wrong turn already since she had been told to take a right next and she was staring at a dead end with only a left turn to take half way down. She hesitated at the left turn, staring down it a little and frowning, brow furrowing around her reflective glasses. Sigh, all she wanted to do was find a shop that could sell her components to repair her little assistant. Poor Aliquam, he’d had a nasty run in with a tree that he’d failed to notice until too late while the pair of them were flying. Thankfully the chassis had been easy enough to fix but the circuit boards within had suffered from being shaken around so much.
Even worse was just how much this had highlighted that Ruby tended to rely on the little guy when it came to navigation and general day to day nonsense. Without him, she did stupid things like get distracted and lose her train of thought. He would always beep at her and alert her to take turns and provide her with silly information that she needed when she asked. With him too busted to even start up, she was ever so slightly devastated. She’d taken a long shot at orange city simply because she could see it nearby and had headed there. Now it had seemed like a really bad idea, she was lost and feeling terribly alone. She hadn’t thought to bring her wrist computer either to bring up a GPS and a search engine. Damnit, she could really do with anyone around right now specifically someone who had any sort of technical mindset since they’d probably know where the damn part shop would be.
